If you have deleted a file or folder while using your remote desktop services in any of the following areas...

  • Shared drive
  • My Documents/ Documents
  • Desktop

It is very easy to recover the file, simply follow the steps below...

  1. Navigate to the folder where the file/folder you need to recover was located
  2. Right click in the folder and select properties
  3. Choose the 'Previous Versions' tab
  4. Locate a date and time before the file/folder was deleted and double click it
  5. Locate the deleted file/folder and copy and paste it back into the original location
