1. Right click on the file you wish to change the defaults for.
2. Click properties.
3. In the properties dialog box, click change.
4. Choose the program you wish to open the selected file type with.
5. Click OK.
6. Then click OK to save the changes.

Any file with the same file type will now open with the program you have selected.
