- Navigate to the location of the required folder or file that you want to grant access to. Click on the ellipsis and select “Details”. This will bring up an additional panel on the right-hand side that will allow you to manage who has access to this folder or file.
- Click on “Manage access”. This will change the panel on the right-hand side to show you who currently has direct access, which you can edit by clicking on the pencil icon (if you have the correct permissions to do so). From here, click on “Grant Access”.
- That will bring you to the final panel. From here you can enter the users name or email address and select what level of permissions you want to give them (View or Edit). It is recommended to leave the “Notify People” selected as this will send them a notification that they have been given access to the folder or file. Click on “Grant Access”. This user will now have access to this specific folder or file.
